Fully Funded Czech Republic Government Scholarship 2025-26

The Fully Funded Czech Republic Government Scholarship is open to all nationals. The Government of the Czech Republic is offering a fully funded scholarship for students from developing countries to complete their Master’s or PhD degree program from the Czech Public Universities. The Czech Republic is a beautiful country. The capital is Prague with a rich history and stunning architecture. The Czech Republic is a Member of the European Union, and hence, students can also travel to other EU countries.

From the 1950s to the present day, more than 20,000 Foreign students have completed their studies in the Czech Republic with a scholarship from the Government of the Czech Republic. The duration of the Master’s degree is 2 to 3 years. The duration of the PhD degree program is 3 to 4 years. The Czech Republic Government offers scholarships in both English and Czech.

• Living Expenses
• CZK 16,000 per month for the Master’s Degree Student
• CZK 17,000 per month for the PhD Degree Student.
• Costs of accommodation, food, and public transport are covered by scholarship holders from the scholarship.
• Travel expenses for traveling to the Czech Republic and back to the student’s home country are paid by the party that nominated the student for the scholarship or by the foreign national at his/her own cost.

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Czech Republic Government Scholarship are stated below:

• The scholarship is open to the citizens of the following countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, and Zambia.
• Citizens of all other countries are not eligible to apply.
• EU Citizens as well as Citizens of the Czech Republic can not apply.
• Students applying for the Master’s program must have obtained a bachelor’s Degree.
• Students applying for the PhD program must have obtained a bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s degree.
