Scholarship Eligibility

  • Be a citizen and resident of an eligible country at the time of application.
  • Hold an undergraduate degree relevant to the chosen master’s program.
  • Meet the academic requirements of the chosen program.
  • Preference for candidates in higher education, government, or civil society; strong motivation required for others.
  • Cannot hold another scholarship or have previously received a Belgian government scholarship.
  • Must not have been enrolled in a Belgian institution before January 1, 2025.
  • Be under 35 years old for initial master’s programs, under 45 for advanced master’s programs, and at least 19 years old for bachelor’s programs.
  • Be proficient in the program’s language of instruction (English).
  • Commit to returning to your home country after graduation to contribute to its development.
