The Amgen Scholars Program provides undergraduate students with summer research opportunities at premier educational and research institutions globally. Participants engage in hands-on research projects, receive guidance from faculty mentors, and attend seminars and networking events.
The program at NUS spans eight weeks of intensive research experience in biomedical or biotechnological sciences.
Participants work on basic and translational science research projects. They mainly do this with help from faculty members. The faculty members are from the Department of Biological Sciences. They also work with partner departments at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS.
