Scholarship Description

Asia Centre’s Internship Program applications are open to candidates of all nationalities. This program offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, international not-for-profit setting. Interns gain valuable skills through real project work in communications, partnership development, and research, with guidance from experienced mentors, preparing them for future careers.

Asia Centre’s Internship Programme offers a well-rounded experience in a not-for-profit organization. The programme gives interns the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international team, where they will gain real work experience in preparation for a future job. Interns are assured of excellent mentorship from our directors and staff on the implementation of projects. They are also exposed to various tasks in communications, partnership development and research, thereby giving them a strong professional foundation and an integrated experience.

Note: The internship is non-remunerated. Applicants must have sufficient funds for travel, accommodation, and living expenses.

Scholarship Eligibility

Applicants must meet these requirements:

  • Enrolled in a Thai university or foreign university with a valid ED visa for the internship period
  • Passionate about civil society, democracy, and human rights in Asia
  • Committed, reliable, and open to project management challenges
  • Proactive problem-solvers with a self-learning mindset
  • Team players who support collaborative growth
  • Skilled in research, drafting, social media, design, photography, and video editing

  • Official letter of university enrollment
  • Copy of passport or Thai ID/visa (if applicable)

  • Copy of photo page of passport/Copy of Thai ID card (for Thai citizens only)/Copy of Thai Visa (if applicable)
  1. After submitting the Goole Form with all required attachments, please email to [email protected] with email subject title “Intern Application_(Your Name)” to alert Asia Centre of your application.

DURATION

The Centre accepts interns for a period of 3 to 6 months. Priority is given to those who apply for 6 months and/or exclusively to Asia Centre. Successful applicants are expected to be onsite, available full-time, not engaged in other activities and committed to the entire duration of the internship period. Once the start and end dates are agreed upon, the duration of the internship is non-negotiable.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

The internship is non-remunerated. The application has to ensure he or she has sufficient funds and support for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses.
