Applications are open for the United Nations FAO Internship 2025 in Italy. It is a Paid Internship program for International students at the FAO headquarters (HQ) in Rome, Italy. The Duration of the FAO internship is 3 to 11 Months. FAO is inviting talented students Enrolled in an Undergraduate degree program, a Graduate Program, or a recent graduate. The objective of the FAO internship is to bring interns from different countries to share new perspectives, innovative ideas, and the latest experience in the FAO organization’s work. Interns will receive a Monthly Stipend and Medical Coverage during the internship program. There is no application fee to apply. • FAO Monthly Stipend: Interns will receive a stipend in a local currency not exceeding US$ 700 per month.
• Medical coverage related to service-incurred is provided.

• Nationality: Candidates must be nationals of FAO Member States.
• Education: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree from an institution listed on the World Higher Education Database (WHED). Write your university name and select your country. If your institute name is available then you are eligible.
• Recent graduates are also eligible.
• Language Proficiency: A working knowledge of at least one of the FAO official languages (English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian) is required.
• Age: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old at the start of the internship.
• Family Relations: Applicants with immediate family members (parents or siblings) employed by FAO are not eligible.
• Visa: Successful candidates must be able to obtain a visa to work in the host country.

Duration of the Program

The Minimum Duration of the Internship is 3 Months and Maximum 11 Months.
