Scholarship Description

The applications are open for the Netherlands NL Scholarship 2025/26. The NL Scholarship is a Gateway to start a higher education Journey in a bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program from a Dutch university. The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science funds this Scholarship. The NL Scholarship Program is open for international students who are not residents of a European Economic Area (EEA). With this scholarship, you can apply to many Dutch Universities. Several Dutch Universities are Participating under the NL Scholarship formally known as the Holland Scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits

The NL Scholarship offers a €5,000 contribution towards your first year of study at a participating Dutch university. Many Dutch universities offer additional scholarships. You may be eligible for these programs, and the NL Scholarship funding can often be combined with them.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • You are a non-EEA national.
  • You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • You are applying to a participating Dutch higher education institution.
  • You meet the specific requirements of your chosen institution.
  • You do not hold a degree from a Dutch educational institution.
