Scholarship Description

 Applications are open for the LawAI Summer Fellowship 2025 in the USA. It is a Fully Funded Fellowship and is open to applicants from all around the world. The Institute for Law & AI (LawAI) is offering a Paid Summer Fellowship to law students, professionals, and academics to work on research projects related to AI law and policy. The Objective of the LawAI Summer Fellowship is to train fellows in Artificial Intelligence and to make sure that the advances in artificial intelligence are beneficial and safe for everyone. Fellows will work under the mentors and engage with policymakers, researchers, and other leaders in the field. Fellows will spend one week in the United States from July 7-11, 2025. Previous work experience or expertise in AI-specific research is not required.

Scholarship Benefits

Scholarship Eligibility

  • The Fellowship is open to all the Nationals.
  • Applications from people with different backgrounds and levels of experience in AI law and policy.
  • You don’t need to be an expert in AI research.
  • The Past Fellows were from the following backgrounds:
    • Graduate law students (e.g., JD or LLM), PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers
    • Professionals transitioning into the field
    • Legal academics
