The United Nations International Law Fellowship in Netherlands is open to all nationals. With this international fellowship, candidates will have the chance to enhance their understanding and knowledge of various aspects of international law and the legal work of the United Nations. It is an initiative of the Codification Division of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs. The main aim of this law fellowship is to facilitate qualified individuals, particularly government officials and teachers specializing in international law, from developing nations and nations with emerging economies. It offers a comprehensive training program led by scholars and practitioners in the field of international law. The interactive nature of this UN fellowship encourages participants to engage in discussions and share their experiences.

will select up to 20 qualified participants from developing and emerging nations. This UN Law Fellowship will take place at The Hague Academy of International Law from 1 July to 2 August 2024. Moreover, this fellowship by the United Nations includes an annual summer course at the Peace Palace in The Hague, interactive seminars, and discussions. Each participant receives a comprehensive collection of training materials at the start of the fellowship program in 2024.
