Scholarship Overview

The applications are open and apply for the Fully Funded UN Conference on Climate Change. This Year the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Egypt in 2022. All international applicants from all parts of the world are eligible to apply. The UN climate change conference will run from 7th-18th November 2022 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. The conference is available online as well as in Person. It will be decided by the selection committee whether you are selected for an online conference or in person in Egypt. All the Expenses will be covered for the selected applicants.

The 27th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 27) to the UNFCCC will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. COP 27 was originally expected to take place from 8-20 November 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is shifted to 7-18 November 2022. The Fully Funded Conference provides a hand on experience to the participants by providing them the platform to interact with the world and talk about the concern related to the climate of the world.

Those who didn’t make it to Egypt, can Join the UN Conference on Climate Change Virtually and get a Stipend.

Scholarship Eligibility

Ideal candidates will…

  • Be 18-35 years old
  • Have at least 1 year of journalism experience
  • Have a hunger to improve as a journalist
  • Have a proven history of writing quality climate stories (show that you’ve published a climate or environmental story in the past 3 months)
