Introduction

The Fully Funded Global UGRAD Program in USA is open to all nationals. Each year, the program selects 300 students. It is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State with funding provided by the U.S. Government and administered by World Learning. IELTS is not required, and there is no application Fee. The program is one of the most popular exchange programs in the USA. Global UGRAD is open to all academic fields of study, with no restriction on study background. The program aims to advance students’ academic and professional development and build connections between U.S. and international students. Note that it is not a degree program. It is a short-term semester exchange program.

Eligibility

  • Global UGRAD is open to all academic fields.
  • Over 18 years old.
  • Must be a citizen of one of the countries listed below.
  • Full-time undergraduate student with at least one year of studies remaining.
  • Secondary education completed in the home country.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Able to start studies in the U.S. in August 2025 or January 2026
  • Medically cleared to participate.
  • Committed to returning to home country after program completion.
