Introduction

The Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship in Switzerland is open to all nationals. This Global Fellowship Program was launched to promote Research on Child and Youth Development. It provides funding for up to 3 years. It is open to highly talented early and mid-career researchers whose work is related to improving the learning and development of youth and children worldwide. The ideal fellow for this program is one who has received their PhD or equivalent degree within the past ten years. 

It is a global competitive fellowship program. The relevant disciplines of the research fellowship include education sciences, economics, psychology, sociology, computer science, behavioral science, pedagogy, neurosciences, linguistics, and science of learning, but are not limited to only these fields. The Jacobs Global Fellowship Program 2024 encourages those scholars who seek to combine different levels of analysis and participate in interdisciplinary work. The global research fellowship’s special focus lies in understanding and embracing variance in learning, promoting the generation, transfer, and practical application on human learning and development, or increasing the capacity to advance effective education policies and practices.
