Introduction

The CERN Short-Term Internships in Switzerland are open to all nationals. It is a paid internship in Switzerland for international students from all around the world. The duration of the CERN Short-Term internship is from 1 to 6 Months. There is no application fee, and IELTS is not Required. The CERN Internship is open to students enrolled in Diploma, Bachelor, and Master’s Degree Programs. All interns will receive a stipend of 1,577 Swiss Francs (1683 Euros). Switzerland is one of the best places to gain practical experience.

Eligibility

  • You are a full-time student (Technical/Administrative diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • Your main field of study should be in one of the following areas given above.
  • You will remain registered as a full-time student in your country/university during the internship.
  • Have a good knowledge of English or French.
  • The duration of the internship is a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 6 months.
  • You need a CV in English or French (in PDF format).

Fields and Areas of Internship

Applied Physics, computing, mathematics, electricity, electronics, mechanical or civil engineering, instrumentation, materials science, radiation protection, safety and environmental protection, surveying, ultra-high vacuum, and scientific communication. Or in administrative fields such as translation, advanced secretarial work, accounting, legal services, human resources, librarianship, and logistics.
