The Fully Funded IMF Internship Program in USA is open to all internationals. For the IMF Internship 2024, approximately 50 students worldwide will join each other at IMF headquarters in Washington, D.C. 

To be eligible for the IMF FIP, you must be enrolled in any university worldwide. Students enrolled in a master’s degree program and a Ph.D. degree program are eligible to apply for the IMF Summer Internship 2024. The International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Internship Program (FIP) may be the right opportunity for you.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded IMF Internship Program in USA are stated below:

PhD students:

1. Within one to two years of completing a PhD in macroeconomics or a related field.

2. Be in student status during the internship (i.e., continuing PhD studies afterward).

3. Be below the age of 32 at the commencement of the internship.

4. Have an excellent command of English, written and oral.

5. Possess strong analytical, quantitative, and computer skills.

Master’s students:

1. Completing a Master’s degree in macroeconomics or a related field.

2. Below the age of 28 at the commencement of the internship.

3. Have an excellent command of English, written and oral.
