Applications are currently being received for Hohai University International Scholarship. The Chinese Government Scholarship, the Hohai University Scholarship, and the Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship are available for international students at the University. The CSC Chinese University Program is fully funded and aims to attract foreign students for graduate studies in China. The other two scholarships are open for candidates from all corners of the world, who wish to study in Undergraduate and graduate programs.

The standard duration for a doctoral degree program is 4 years (minimum 3 years – maximum 6 years), and 3 years (minimum 2 years – maximum 5 years) for a master’s degree program. The Chinese Government Scholarship Chinese University Program is established by the Ministry of Education to support Chinese universities to attract outstanding international students for graduate studies in China. This scholarship program is fully funded and provide coverage for the entire duration of the study program.

Founded in 1915, Hohai University (HHU, 河海大学 – Héhǎi Dàxué) is a public research university located in the old capital city Nanjing, China. Currently, the university offers 12 post-doctorate programs, 66 Ph.D. programs, 198 Master’s programs, 18 Engineering Master’s programs, the MBA program, and 54 undergraduate programs. These scholarships to study in Asia will be provided with the following coverage depending on type:

1. The Chinese Government Scholarship

1. Exemption from registration fee, tuition and accommodation fees;
2. Monthly Living allowance:
   • Master’s degree students: 3000 RMB/month;
   • PhD degree students: 3500 RMB/month.

2. Hohai University Scholarship

Hohai University scholarship is annually reviewed, based on the candidate’s academic result, research and comprehensive performances. The result will be updated each academic year.

1. The first-class scholarship includes tuition, on campus accommodation, comprehensive insurance and monthly allowance.
2. The second-class scholarship includes tuition and on campus accommodation.
3. The third-class scholarship includes tuition.

3. Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship

The scholarship provides up to 20,000RMB/year.

To apply for this Hohai University International Scholarship, Applicants must meet be:

1. Non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport;
2. Physically and mentally healthy;
3. Chinese citizens who have obtained foreign nationalities shall follow the relevant regulation of Ministry of Education of China;
4. Master’s degree applicant should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent one, under 35 years old;
5. Doctoral degree applicant should have a master degree or equivalent, and under the age of 40.
