Introduction

The Fully Funded Climate Parent Fellowship is open to all nationals. This Climate fellowship program supports individuals, leaders, educators, campaigners, and organizers of climate-led initiatives. Around the globe, parents, grandparents, and other caretakers are taking action on climate change to safeguard the children they hold dear and our shared environment. The international fellowship aims to support initiatives that tackle climate change, guided by parents, promoting intergenerational collaboration and a family-centered approach. Since 2021, this fellowship program has empowered 41 organizers from 25 different countries, facilitating the growth and enhancement of their projects, enterprises, methodologies, and advocacy campaigns on a global scale.

In addition, all Climate Parent Fellows will receive a stipend, comprehensive training, and ongoing mentorship to enhance the sustainability and effectiveness of their climate advocacy efforts. This fellowship provides a fantastic opportunity to become part of a diverse and supportive community of peers dedicated to mutual learning. While many fellows primarily concentrate on climate initiatives by parents, individuals without children who are passionate about engaging individuals of all age groups are also encouraged to submit their applications. Hence making it an excellent training program.

Moreover, the Climate Parent Fellowship program by Our Kids Climate supports and amplifies the efforts of individuals who want to positively impact the environment and secure a sustainable future for children and future generations. This leadership fellowship is currently accepting applications for its one-year-long program for its 2025 cohort. The fellowship for climate action, therefore, offers a valuable chance to join a welcoming and vast community of peers engaged in mutual learning. While most fellows primarily concentrate on climate engagement led by parents, the program also welcomes applications from individuals without children who want to engage people across generations.

Similarly, Our Kids Climate Fellowship will select ten fellows and start in January 2025. It particularly aims to support fellows involved in COP30 (2025 United Nations Climate Change Conference). Over time, the Climate Parent Fellowship aims to make a measurable impact on climate action. This is done by equipping parents and caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to lead successful climate initiatives. Individuals from around the world are eligible to apply for this mentorship program.
