To provide bright but financially backward students the right platform for their personal, intellectual and professional development, William Paterson University is pleased to establish the Freshman Awards for the academic year 2022-2023.

These William Paterson University Freshman Awards have been established for incoming freshman students only. International and domestic incoming freshmen are both eligible to apply. A merit-based scholarship will be awarded to the selected students.

It is ranked 90th in Regional Universities North. It strives to expand the boundaries of knowledge and creative expression in and outside of our classrooms.

William Paterson University Freshman Awards will provide the selected incoming freshman merit-based scholarship funds towards their undergraduate study

• Eligible Countries: All international and domestic students are eligible to apply for these William Paterson University Freshman Awards..
• Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply from an undergraduate study programme offered at William Paterson University.
• Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria
• The applicants must be incoming freshman students.

• How to Apply: Students can make an admission application in order to be considered for the award. Selection will be made on the basis of the admission application.
• Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
• High school transcript
• Portfolio
• SAT/ACT scores, if applicable
• Admission Requirements: Students must meet the requirements for admission of the university.
• Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
• TOEFL IBT – 80
• TOEFL PBT – 550
• TOEFL CBT – 213
• IELTS – 6.0
