Rhonda Ewart Honours Scholarship in Dementia Care at University of Tasmania in Australia 2024-25

The Rhonda Ewart Honours Scholarship in Dementia Care at University of Tasmania in Australia is open to Australians. It is offered for a Bachelor's degree in the field of Dementia Research. The deadline for sending an application is 31 Jan 2025. This scholarship is provided by the University of Tasmania.

In honor of the University of Tasmania's 125th anniversary, Rhonda Ewart established the Rhonda Ewart Honours Scholarship in Dementia Care scholarship in 2015. Its purpose is to provide an honors scholarship that will always be given to a student pursuing an honors program in dementia care with the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Center at the University of Tasmania.

The successful candidates are awarded a sum of AUD 5,000.

• Accessible to a student starting an Honors research course (M4G or M4N) in Semester 1, 2025, under the supervision of the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Center, on a subject related to dementia.
• The applicant must be enrolled in the College of Health and Medicine's Tasmanian School of Medicine.
• The applicant must obtain at least a passing grade in each of their honors degree's components.
• The applicant must exhibit good academic standing.
• The applicant must demonstrate financial need.
