Its purpose is to provide an honors scholarship that will always be given to a student pursuing an honors program in dementia care with the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Center at the University of Tasmania.

The successful candidates are awarded a sum of AUD 5,000.

Eligibility

  • Accessible to a student starting an Honors research course (M4G or M4N) in Semester 1, 2025, under the supervision of the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Center, on a subject related to dementia.
  • The applicant must be enrolled in the College of Health and Medicine's Tasmanian School of Medicine.
  • The applicant must obtain at least a passing grade in each of their honors degree's components.
  • The applicant must exhibit good academic standing.
  • The applicant must demonstrate financial need.
  • To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicants should apply for the College of Health and Medicine Honours Scholarships.
