  • The maximum amount of scholarship will be €934, and various allowances, health insurance, and others.

EU National Students:

(EU Students who have never studied in Germany before)

  • €812 allowance with €300 study cost allowance monthly, possibly other allowances like family, children allowances, and health insurance.

Doctorate Degree Benefits

For German/Non-German students:

(Students who have studied in Germany before)

  • €1350 every month plus a €100 research allowance monthly.
  • Possibly, it will include a family or childcare allowance, with health insurance or something similar.

European Union Students:

  • €1350 every month and €100 for research allowance monthly.
  • Possibly, it will include a family or childcare allowance, with health insurance or something similar.

Non-EU Students:

(Non-EU nationals and have not studied in Germany before)

  • €1200 every month and €100 research allowance monthly.
  • It also covers other different allowances.

Master’s Degree Criteria:

Students can apply only for a Master’s degree.

European Union Students:

  • They must have evidence of their Bachelor’s degree (copy of the first-degree certificate).
  • Furthermore, they must have certification of their proficiency in the German language (Level B2 or DSH2).
  • Before the commencement of studies, proof of enrolment must be submitted, or it may be submitted by the time of the selection interview at the latest.

Non-EU Students:

(Non-EU students who have never studied in Germany before)

  • Students must have evidence of their Bachelor’s degree (copy of the first-degree certificate).
  • Moreover, they must have certification of their proficiency in the German language (Level B2 or DSH2).

Doctorate Degree Criteria:

  • Applicants must prove that they received an offer for a Doctorate program at a German or state-recognized university.
  • Non-German applicants will have to provide proof of their proficiency in the German language.
