The Fully Funded Charles R. Wall Young African Policy Fellows Program in Africa is open to Africans. A minimum requirement includes having a first university degree in fields such as environmental sciences, social sciences, agricultural sciences, international relations, gender studies, indigenous knowledge systems, resource mobilization, biotechnology, or any other relevant sector in international environmental governance. Otherwise, relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
6. Candidates should have at least two years of experience in conservation or biodiversity management gained through employment, activism, or volunteering.
7. Successful applicants must commit to attending the entire course while being available for travel to policy conferences and providing support to negotiators when applicable.
