The Fully Funded Azerbaijan Government Scholarship is open to all nationals. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan are pleased to announce the “Heydar Aliyev“. Azerbaijan Government Scholarship 2024-2025. This Higher Education Scholarship will be offered to 100 candidates for 5 years. Through this scholarship program, you can study at leading universities of Azerbaijan and can pursue preparatory courses, and undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and general medicine/medical residency programs.

The Government of Azerbaijan will fully fund this scholarship. All international students will receive International Flight Tickets, Accommodation, Full Tuition Fee, Medical Insurance, Monthly Allowance, Visa, and Temporary Residence Permit. Applicants in any academic field can apply. IELTS is not required if you can provide proof that you have completed your previous education form in English Medium.

The benefits of the Fully Funded Azerbaijan Government Scholarship are:

• Tuition fees
• A monthly stipend of 470 USD for living expenses, accommodation, and educational materials
• Medical insurance of 117 USD.
• Visa and registration costs
• Roundtrip Airfare Travel tickets will be provided.

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Azerbaijan Government Scholarship are stated below:

• Citizens of Azerbaijan are Not Eligible.
• For Undergraduate and General Medicine programs, the age should not be more than 35 years.
• For the Graduate and Medical Residency program, the age should not be more than 40 years.
• For PhD, age should not be more than 45 years.

Requirements of the Fully Funded Azerbaijan Government Scholarship

• Completed Nomination Form (it is the first stage of the application process)
• All previous transcripts, degrees, diplomas, school certificates.
• Copy of the medical certificate (including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B/C tests);
• Copy of Valid Passport
• CV or Resume
• English Language Proficiency Proof
• Motivation Letter
• Achievements and awards

Application Process

Applicants can not directly apply for the Scholarship. All applicants must wait for the call for applications announced by their respective entities/government authorities (Ministries,
Embassies, etc.).

The applicant must apply and submit documents to the respective authorities. The respective authorities will select applicants and will nominate the students.

After the nominations, they will proceed to the second stage of the application process and apply through the Study in Azerbaijan Centralized Admission Service (SIACAS) website (portal.edu.az)
