Introduction

The FNSNA Undergraduate Funded Scholarship Program in USA only accepts applications from US nationals. It is offered for Bachelor, Master, and Diploma degrees in the field of Nursing. The deadline for sending your application is 26 Jan 2024. This scholarship is provided by The Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (FNSNA). Since 1969, the FNSNA has sought to promote nursing through scholarship, leadership, and development.  Individuals and organizations interested in nursing education have established scholarships within the FNSNA.  The FNSNA continues to expand its support for nursing education and the future of the nursing profession.

The Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association (FNSNA) was created in 1969 to honor Frances Tompkins, the Association's first Executive Director. Organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, the Foundation awards scholarships to qualified nursing students. Contributions to the FNSNA are tax-deductible. Since 1974, the FNSNA has awarded undergraduate nursing students over 2 million dollars in scholarships. The Foundation is organized as a 501 (C) (3) charitable foundation.

The FNSNA Undergraduate Funded Scholarship Program in USA will provide an amount of up to $10,000 per academic year.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the FNSNA Undergraduate Funded Scholarship Program in USA are stated below:

1. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or aliens with U.S. Permanent Resident Status or hold an Alien Registration Number.

2. Candidates must be enrolled in a state-approved nursing program leading to an associate degree, baccalaureate, diploma, direct-entry master’s degree, RN to BSN/MSN completion, LPN/LVN to RN, or accelerated programs.

3. Funds are not available for graduate study unless it is for a first degree in nursing.

4. Students must graduate after July 1, 2024, to be eligible to apply.
