Eligibility

  • Applicants must have an offer letter from the University in an eligible LLM program.
  • Students must enroll in one of the following programs: 
    • LL.M. in International Legal Studies;
    • LL.M. in International Business & Trade Law;
    • LL.M. in Gender, International & Comparative Law.
  • Applicants who have previous work experience have a higher probability of winning the scholarship.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the potential to become leaders in their respective areas of interest or practice.

Application Process

  • The eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship.
  • The candidates must submit a complete LLM application.
  • They must submit the response to the following essays:
    • Describe a current regional, international, or country-specific legal problem and offer your legal solution to the problem. (max. 750 words)
    • Describe how the LL.M. program can help you prepare for a global legal career and how you will utilize your skills as a global lawyer to contribute to WCL (max. 500 words)
