The University of Copenhagen International Scholarship will offer a salary of DKK 6.397 before tax to the successful candidates

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this University of Copenhagen International Scholarship.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: PhD degree programme in Computer Science.
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible for the regular PhD programme, you must have completed a degree programme, equivalent to a Danish master’s degree (180 ECTS/3 FTE BSc + 120 ECTS/2 FTE MSc) related to the subject area of the project, e.g. MSc, MA or MFA degree.

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for the fellowship, all interested candidates are required to take admission in a PhD degree at the University of Copenhagen. After getting enrolled, applicants must complete and submit the online application form.
  • Supporting Documents: Candidates must submit the following supporting documents:
  • Motivated letter of application (max. one page)
  • Statement of purpose including a research question and the main goals of the proposed project and detailing your motivation and background for applying
  • Curriculum vitae including information about your education, experience, language skills and other skills relevant for the position
  • Original diploma for Masters program (MSc, MA, or MFA degree) transcript of records in the original language, including an authorized English translation if issued in another language than English or Danish. If not completed, a certified/signed copy of a recent transcript of records or a written statement from the institution or supervisor is accepted.
  • Publication list (if possible)
  • Reference letters (if available)
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants will be selected on the basis of previous publications (if any) and relevant work experience.
  • Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, you should provide evidence of English language ability: IELTS, TOEFL, or other acceptable proof.
