Scholarship Benefits

The University of Copenhagen will provide a starting salary, pension, and terms of employment following the agree­ment between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligile for this University of Copenhagen International scholarship.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
  • Applicants should hold an MSc degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, plant biology or analytical chemistry and should be fluent in both spoken and written English.
  • You must have completed a degree program equivalent to a Danish master’s degree (180 ECTS/3 FTE BSc + 120 ECTS/2 FTE MSc) related to the subject area of the project, e.g. biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, plant biology or analytical chemistry.

  • How to Apply: In order to apply for the fellowship, all interested candidates are required to take admission in a PhD degree at the University of Copenhagen. After being enrolled, applicants can complete the online application form for this award.

  • Curriculum vitae including information about your education, experience, language skills and other skills relevant for the position

If not completed, a certified/signed copy of a recent transcript of records or a written statement from the institution or supervisor is accepted.

  • Admission Requirements: Students must hold qualifications corresponding to a master’s degree related to the subject area of the project to secure admission.
