Scholarship Description

The University of Central Oklahoma is committed to providing affordable tuition to our students and their families from all over the world. Therefore, it has established the Freshman Distinguished Global Scholar Award for the academic year 2022-2023.

Incoming undergraduate students are eligible to take this University of Central Oklahoma Freshman Distinguished Global Scholar Award. Students applying must be international students that have a minimum of 3.50 GPA or SAT 1300 or ACT 28. The scholarship award of $8,000 will be dispensed to legible students for up to 2 years in 2 installments.

Scholarship Benefits

The selected applicants for University of Central Oklahoma Freshman Distinguished Global Scholar Award will be provided a scholarship up to $8,000, i.e. $4,000 per year for up to 2 years of study.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: International students are eligible to apply for this University of Central Oklahoma Freshman Distinguished Global Scholar Award.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Undergraduate programmes offered at UCO can be applied for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must have a minimum of 3.50 GPA or SAT 1300 or ACT 28.
  • The applicants must have a 3.00 cumulative GPA or higher to renew the award.

  • PTE Academic – 42
