The Unitec Institute of Technology Masters Scholarship in New Zealand will provide $5,000 to support three talented individuals pursuing this specialized program.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria of Unitec Institute of Technology Masters Scholarship in New Zealand are stated below:

1. Have an offer of a place in a Unitec Masters Programme.

2. Have committed themselves to completing a research thesis of at least 90 credits.

3. Have a minimum average grade – as given below – or equivalent in all previous studies at Level 7 or above;

4. Minimum grade of B+ for programme-level scholarships

5. Minimum grade of B for M? ori and Pacific scholarships

6. Minimum grade of B- for industry scholarships

7. Provisional grades can be used to calculate the GPA if necessary.

8. Full-time Unitec staff are not eligible for these scholarships.

9. T?? Papa Rangahau must be advised as soon as possible if no students meet the above eligibility criteria.

10. Where several applications are received from students in a particular program, all of whom meet the criteria, a transparent application and selection process must be implemented by the directors or APMs at their discretion.

11. Applicants must declare any other scholarships they have received, applied for, or intended to apply for. Directors or APMs can allocate or not allocate scholarships to students who hold other scholarships.

12. When students fail to meet scholarship deadlines due to technical enrolment issues or other factors caused by Unitec, which are outside their control, Programme, Priority Group, and Industry, Scholarship review panels may exercise discretion with their decision to include or exclude the individual concerned. These groups should report this discretion back to the PGRSC for systems improvement.
