Introduction

The Therle Drake Postgraduate Scholarship at VUW in New Zealand is open to all nationals. It is offered for a Master's degree in the field of Music. The deadline for sending an application is 15 Mar 2025. This scholarship is provided by the Victoria University of Wellington.

The Therle Drake Postgraduate Scholarship will be available annually and applications should be made by 15 November or 15 March in the year following, or the year in which the project is planned. All instrumentalists are eligible, though preference may be given to a piano student.

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolling or have enrolled for postgraduate study at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington.
Students should be attending a short course or attending and/or participating in a concert and/or masterclass in Europe, North America, or Australia.
The scholarship is open to New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, and international students.
