The Fully Funded University of Auckland Scholarship in New Zealand is being made available for new International undergraduate and postgraduate students who are applying to study taught PGDip or master's degree of 120 points or more, or who are applying to study undergraduate degrees (with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications). Studies can be in any subject.

The main purpose of the Scholarship is to attract new international students of high caliber to enroll in undergraduate or postgraduate taught study for 1 year or more at the University of Auckland.

The Fully Funded University of Auckland Scholarship in New Zealand will be awarded bi-annually with each scholarship valued at up to $10,000, for postgraduate and undergraduate study.

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded University of Auckland Scholarship in New Zealand are stated below:

Applicants must be new international students who have received an unconditional offer, or English Language Academy (ELA) students who have received a conditional offer, of study to undertake a Postgraduate Diploma or master's (taught) of 120 points or more, or an undergraduate degree (applying with overseas secondary or post-secondary qualifications) at the University of Auckland. Applicants should generally have a grade point equivalent (GPE) of at least 6.00.

The basis of selection will be academic merit, the quality of the letter of application, and endorsement by the applicant’s referee. The country of origin of the applicant may also be considered by the selection committee.

Scholarship applications will usually open around 6 weeks before the closing date. The application deadline for studies commencing February 2022 is 21 November 2023 and  20 April 2023 for studies commencing July 2023.
