Introduction

The Fully Funded Shandong University Scholarship in China is open to all nationals. Shandong University is a top-tier university located in Jinan, Shandong Province. The purpose of the SDU Scholarship is to financially support new international students to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degree programs. Founded in 1901. It is one of the first universities established in modern China. The university has over 80 undergraduate programs, over 200 master’s programs, and 100 doctoral programs. Applicants do not need to provide IELTS/TOEFL scores if they have completed previous education from an English medium institute.

Eligibility

Te eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Shandong University Scholarship in China are stated below: 

1. Applicants must not be a Chinese citizen.

2. Must be in good health.

3. Must hold a secondary education when applying for Bachelor’s programs.

4. Must hold a bachelor’s degree when applying for master’s programs.

5. Must hold a bachelor’s, or master’s degree when applying for doctoral programs.

6. be under the age of 25 when applying for Bachelor’s programs.

7. be under the age of 35 when applying for Master’s programs.

8. be under the age of 40 when applying for Doctoral programs.

9. Applicants cannot be awarded any other scholarship funded by the Chinese government during the period of receiving the SDU Scholarship.

Others

English Language Requirements

1. Applicants whose native language is English are exempt from providing English language certification.

2. Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit the results of the IELTS (6.0 or above), TOEFL (80 points or above, SDU’s DI code: C296), MyBest Scores (80 points or above), Essentials test (8 points or above) or other equivalent certificates of English proficiency.

3. Applicants who have obtained their highest degree in an institution where the primary language of instruction is English, do not need to provide IELTS/TOEFL scores but must submit a letter of proof, signed, and stamped by the administering institution, stating the entire program was delivered in English.
