Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Shandong University CCEED Scholarship in China are stated below:

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or above.
  • Applicants from Indonesia and Korea are preferred.

  • A copy of a current passport
  • Notarized highest diploma: To verify your current enrollment status or anticipated graduation date, prospective diploma recipients must provide an official document from their present institution. Notarized translations into Chinese or English must be appended to documents written in languages other than Chinese or English.
  • Academic transcripts: Notarized translations in either Chinese or English must be attached to transcripts written in languages other than Chinese or English.
  • Two letters of recommendation. Two reference letters from associate professors or higher are required of applicants.
  • A minimum of 800 words should be devoted to a personal statement, either in Chinese or English, that details one's educational background, professional experiences, motivation for applying, and study schedule.
  • A photocopy of the English language competency certifications.
  • English native speakers do not need to provide the certificate.
  • Non-native English speakers should present their TOEFL (80 or above) or IELTS (6.0 or higher) test results or other equivalent credentials.
  • Candidates who have received their highest education in English may submit a certificate of proficiency in the language.
