Introduction

The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is a US Government Fully Funded Prestigious scholarship program to study at US Universities. On the Fulbright scholarship, international students can pursue a Master’s, or PhD degree or conduct research in the United States. Approximately 4,000 foreign students receive Fulbright scholarships each year. This is one of the best scholarships to study in the United States.

The Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassies administer the Fulbright Program. These offices process all Fulbright scholarship applications. This Fulbright Foreign degree program operates in over 140 countries. It is open in all fields. The Fulbright Program encourages applications from all backgrounds, especially those with disabilities to apply.

Approximately 4,000 applicants receive a Fulbright scholarship each year. Each Fulbright-administered department in the country selects a specific number of students from their country.

Eligibility

  • Be a National of a country where the Fulbright Program is applicable.
  • Select your country from here
  • Must have completed a bachelor’s degree program with a good academic record.
  • Satisfy the English Language requirements. Each country has set its test requirements. Some countries take TOEFL, while some opt for Duolingo.
  • Do not hold U.S. citizenship; dual citizens are not eligible for the program participation.
  • Additional eligibility requirements differ by country of citizenship.

How to Apply for the Fulbright Scholarship?

All applicants are processed by binational Fulbright Commissions/Foundations or U.S. Embassies. Foreign students must apply through the Fulbright Commissions/Foundations in their home countries.
