About Fulbright

The Fulbright Program is an international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government to increase understanding between the U.S. and other countries. The program was established in 1946 by Senator J. William Fulbright of Arkansas and has given more than 400,000 students, teachers, artists, scholars, and scientists the opportunity to study, teach, conduct research, and exchange ideas.
