Introduction

The Fully Funded ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship in Switzerland is open to all internationals at Zurich University, Switzerland, and offers Undergraduate, and Graduate students to obtain research experience during the summer months. The Computer Science Department of Zurich University offers the ETH fellowship.

Benefits

The benefits of the Fully Funded ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship in Switzerland are:

1. Housing and living costs. Fellows will receive CHF 1.750 to cover housing and living expenses

2. Travel and visa expenses will be covered as well.

3. Students can claim the travel costs against receipts at the beginning of the program.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded ETH Student Summer Research Fellowship in Switzerland are stated below:

1. Open to all students worldwide.

2. Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in computer science or a closely related field (e.g., electrical engineering, mathematics, physics.

3. You will have completed two years of study (for Bachelors)

4. Although formal evidence of language proficiency is not required.

How to Prepare Your Application

1. Please explore the faculty members in the participating hosting labs and their research topics

2. In the online application, you have to indicate one or two preferred research areas.

Upload Documents

In the online application, you have to upload several documents:

1. Your CV. It should be in Europass CV format

2. Official academic transcript from your home university.

3. If you are in the first semester of a master’s program, and your first-semester result is unavailable, please indicate your final bachelor’s degree GPA.

4. Letter of motivation/personal statement (max 1 page)

5. Do not upload password-protected PDFs.

6. Do not apply at the last minute.
