CERN Short Term Internships in Switzerland 2024-25

The CERN Short Term Internships in Switzerland is open to all nationals. The Internships last for 1 to 6 months. CERN is a European Organization Located in Geneva. If you would like to do an International Internship then imagine doing it at CERN and having an opportunity to explore Switzerland and Europe. The CERN Short Term Internship opportunities are open to Technical/Administrative diploma, Bachelor or Master degree students in the fields of Technical or Administrative field.

• The duration of the internship is minimum 1 month and maximum 6 months.
• Your Educational Establishment / University must ensure you have full insurance cover valid in the Geneva area (France and Switzerland) for medical expenses, work and private accidents as well as any disability arising from professional and non-professional illness and accidents.
• You will receive a monthly allowance of 1,577 Swiss Francs.

You must meet the following requirements:

• You are a full-time student (Technical/Administrative diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
• You are at least 18 years of age.
• Your main field of study should be in one of the following areas given above.
• You will remain registered as a full-time student in your country/university during the internship.
• Have a Good Knowledge of English or French.
