Introduction

The World Heritage Residence/Scholarship in Sweden is open to all nationals. It offers a one-month stay in either one or two of the seven designated World Heritage farmhouses. As a scholarship recipient, you have the option to choose between Kristofers in Järvsö or Erik-Anders in Söderala.

Benefits

The World Heritage Residence/Scholarship in Sweden will provide accommodation and living in one or two World Heritage farms for one month. Scholarship holders will receive a grant of approximately 4,500 euros (50,000 SEK) to carry out their proposed idea or project. The scholarship is open to individuals such as researchers, artists, or other cultural actors from around the world.

 

Eligibility

To be eligible for the World Heritage Residence/Scholarship in Sweden, applicants must have an idea related to the UNESCO World Heritage list and be interested in connecting the World Heritage site Decorated Farmhouses of Hälsingland with other World Heritage sites in an artistic, cultural, or researching way.
