The University of Auckland Senior Health Research Scholarship is offered for domestic and international students paying domestic fees to support health professionals returning to the University to study for a doctorate in health-related areas.

Benefits

The University of Auckland Senior Health Research Scholarship provides a reward of up to NZD 40,590 per annum plus compulsory fees to the students.

Applicants must exhibit an excellent academic track record.
The research proposal submitted by the applicant must exhibit a superior level of quality.

Application Process:

Candidates cannot directly apply for the scholarship.
The scholarship is bestowed upon the recipient by the University of Auckland Council, following the endorsement of the Dean of Graduate Studies.
This endorsement is, in turn, based on the recommendation of a Selection Committee, which is appointed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, in consultation with the Director of the Liggins Institute.
