Introduction

The Robert M. O’dell Endowed Scholarship at CSU in USA is open to all nationals. It is offered for Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the field of Public Administration. The deadline for sending an application varies. This scholarship is provided by the California State University.

In April 1987, the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) created the Robert M. O'Dell endowed scholarship fund in Los Angeles' honor. The 17 institutions that offer public administration degree programs receive scholarships from the northern and southern geographic regions of California.

Benefits

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship of USD 2,500.

Eligibility

  • Applicants may come from any nationality.
  • Applicants must be enrolled as full-time, upper-division undergraduate or graduate students in public administration.
  • Applicants must be in good standing with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Applicants must remain full-time students in good standing during the academic year in which the award is received. 
  • Applicants belonging to the following categories are given first consideration:
    • A public administration major specializing in finance
    • A first-generation college student
