Scholarship Description

The Radboud master’s scholarship program is carried out to attract brilliant, highly motivated, non-EEA students with excellent academic records to become a part of the Radboud Scholarship. These students will fulfill the institute’s core mission of bringing a significant impact through the Radboud University Scholarship in the Netherlands, promoting equal opportunities for international students, and fostering both global and regional development. 

The international scholarship by Radboud University is a world-class traditional university in the vicinity. The national student survey approves that its students score the university 8.0 out of 10 and their programmers a 7.7. Nijmegen, where the University lies, is the second most attractive city for students after Groningen. Moreover, their students won the Great Dutch Students Championship, which made Nijmegen City the best student sports city in the Netherlands. Further, 29.6 percent of faculty are female professors who are above the national average score.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Radboud Scholarship reduces your tuition fee to €2,530.
  • For example, in 2025/2026, grant holders will pay only €2,530 instead of the regular €17,000.
  • The scholarship also covers costs for:
    • Visa and residence permit
    • Health insurance
    • Liability insurance (Aon Student Insurance) for your stay in the Netherlands.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Candidates must hold non-EU/EEA passports.
  • Candidates must not be eligible for getting the lower EEA tuition fee.
  • Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree from a university that lies outside the Netherlands.
  • Candidates must not have previous education achieved in the Netherlands.
  • The candidate must meet the English language proficiency requirement for the master’s program.
  • Candidates must be able to be fully admitted to the master’s Programme starting from 1st September 2025.
  • Candidates should be able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a Netherlands visa.
  • Candidates must enroll themselves as full-time students for the respective Programme.
