The funded fellowship is open to women from different parts of the world in all fields of study. Applicants must intend to return to their home country and pursue a professional career. They will become leaders in business, academia, government, community activism, arts, or scientific fields. Recipients for this AAUW International Fellowship Program are selected for their academic achievement. Furthermore, another selection criterion is their demonstrated commitment to women and girls.

This international fellowship for women will support postgraduate and graduate studies at accredited US institutes.
