Introduction

In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Durham University are offering two tuition fee programme for the talented candidates in the UK.

 The program aims to encourage and support students from Malaysia & Thailand who want to undertake a master’s degree program at the University for the session 2020/21.

Benefits

The university will provide all the following:

  • 1 x £10,000 tuition fee funding for students from Malaysia
  • 1 x £10,000 tuition fee funding for students from Thailand studying a full-time Business or Science/ Maths/ Engineering programme (excluding MBA programmes) Masters degree in September 2020

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: Malaysia & Thailand students are eligible to opportunity.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:

You can apply for a Durham University – GREAT Malaysia Scholarship if you:

  • are a national of Malaysia, hold a Malaysian passport and
  • classed as an overseas student for fee purposes, self-financing and
  • hold the equivalent of a first-class honours degree and
  • hold an offer to start a full-time Masters degree in September 2020

You can apply for a Durham University – GREAT Thailand Scholarship if you:

  • are a national of Thailand, hold a Thai passport and
  • classed as an overseas student for fee purposes, self-financing and
  • hold the equivalent of a first-class honours degree and
  • hold an offer to start a full-time Business or Science/ Maths/ Engineering programme (excluding MBA programmes) Masters degree in September 2020

Others

Students have to provide evidence of English language proficiency by providing the TOEFL or IELTS test scores.
