Fully Funded UTokyo Amgen Scholars Program in Japan 2025

The Fully Funded UTokyo Amgen Scholars Program in Japan is open to all nationals. The duration of the internship is 2 months. It is taking place from 5th June to 7th August 2025. During the internship, international students will get a chance to explore the campus and think about pursuing higher education at the University of Tokyo. Interns will receive airfare, accommodation, food, and a stipend that can be used freely for personal trips. Japan comes number 1 in providing internship opportunities.

• Accommodation: Near Hongo Campus, provided by UTokyo.
• Stipend: 270,000 JPY for food and personal expenses.
• Travel: Economy-class airfare to Tokyo (or domestic train tickets) is provided.

• Students from Asia can apply from here (Enrolled in an Asian university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.)
• Students from Australia/New Zealand/Oceania can apply from here
• Completed at least one year of undergraduate study.
• Must not be graduated before the internship.
• It is a summer internship, and the participants must be available for the full duration.
• Strong academic performance.
• English proficiency: TOEFL iBT 72, IELTS 5.5, Cambridge English FCE, TOEIC 1095, TOEIC L&R 785, or TOEIC S&W 310 (for non-native English speakers).
• Interest in pursuing a Ph.D.
