Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Summer Program at Hansen Leadership Institute in USA are stated below:

Non-U.S. Applicant:

1. Undergraduate students must have completed two years of college or graduate students.

2. Furthermore, applicants should have two years of specialization in international economic development, international relations, diplomacy, or related fields.

3. They must be in the 20-25 age group.

4. Moreover, they must demonstrate leadership potential outside of the classroom in the community, nation, or region.

5. Applicants must present an academic advisor (letter of recommendation) verifying English proficiency in writing.

6. IELTS, GRE or TOEFL are not required.

7. You must have a valid international passport. If you don’t have it, you can apply it later.

8. Preference will be given to those not previously visited the United States.

9. Must have experience working with any NGOs or community work. 

American students:

Others

HLI 2024 Requirements: 

1. Letter of Acceptance.

2. DS-2019, issued by the University of San Diego.

3. Financial statement.

4. Receipt of paid SEVIS fees.

5. Two reference letters to verify your language proficiency. One should be from an academic professor or advisor, and the second should be from the NGO or community you have worked with.
