The Fully Funded Fellowship at Hansen Leadership Institute in USA is open to all nationals. It offers an international leadership program funded by the Fred J. Hansen Foundation. Scholarship Eligibility

Non-U.S. Applicants:

  • Undergraduate students must have completed two years of college or graduate students.
  • Furthermore, applicants should have 2 years of specialization in international economic development, international relations, diplomacy, or any related fields.
  • They must be in the 20-25 age group at the start of the program.
  • Moreover, they must demonstrate leadership potential outside of the classroom in the community, nation, or region.
  • Applicants must present an academic advisor (letter of recommendation) verifying English proficiency in writing.
  • IELTS, GRE, or TOEFL are not required.
  • You must have a valid international passport. If you don’t have it, you can apply it later.
  • Preference will be given to those who have not previously visited the United States.

American students:

  • Undergraduate students must have completed two years of college or graduate students.
  • Furthermore, applicants should have 2 years of specialization in international economic development, international relations, diplomacy, or related fields.
  • Moreover, you must be 20-25 years old to be eligible for the USA exchange program.
  • Must demonstrate leadership potential outside of the classroom in the community, nation, or region.
  • Must present an academic advisor (letter of recommendation) verifying English proficiency in writing.
  • However, IELTS, GRE, or TOEFL are not required.
  • You must have a valid international passport. If you don’t have it, you can apply it later.
  • Preference will be given to those who have not previously visited the United States.
  • Must have experience of working with any NGOs or community work.

Others

Hansen Leadership Institute Requirements:

  • Letter of Acceptance
  • DS-2019, issued by the University of San Diego.
  • Financial statement.
  • Receipt of paid SEVIS fees.
  • Two reference letters to verify your language proficiency. One should be from an academic professor or advisor, and the second should be from the NGO or community with whom you have worked.
