Introduction

The Fully Funded Research Internships in Science and Engineering in Germany is open to all nationals. RISE stands for the Research Internships in Science and Engineering. Each year, RISE Germany offers around 300 scholarships. The duration of this summer internship is three months. The minimum stay is 10 weeks, and the maximum stay is 90 days. Participants will complete their internship at top German universities and research institutes. The students are matched with the host university according to their field of interest.

Eligibility

  • Enrolled Undergraduate students with at least 2 years of completion.
  • Students enrolled in the fields of biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth sciences, or engineering.
  • Be currently enrolled at a university/college in the United States, Canada, the UK, or Ireland as an undergraduate.
  • For German Citizens: You are only eligible to apply if you can prove that you have been living outside of Germany for six years or more.
  • IELTS is not required.
  • The German Language is not required.
