Introduction

The Fully Funded Overseas Postgraduate Scholarships at SMU in Singapore are open to citizens of Singapore. It is offered for a PhD degree in the fields of selected list of subjects. The scholarship will take place at any university around the world except any Singaporean university.

Eligibility

The applicants for SMU Overseas Ph.D. Scholarships should be citizens of Singapore.
The candidates should have an outstanding academic record and should show high proficiency and motivation.
The applicants should be interested in an academic career at SMU.
The candidates should have bachelor's degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Accountancy, Engineering, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, and Engineering.

The applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, and names and e-mail addresses of three referees familiar with the applicant's education/work.
The candidates should submit a personal statement mentioning their area of interest and motivation for pursuing an academic career.
