Ghent University is seeking high-performing aspirants to take part in the International PhD Scholarships in Sustainability from Childhood.

The Ghent University International Scholarship is designed to give for outstanding students who want to study for a PhD degree for the academic session 2022/2023.

Established in 1817, Ghent University considers itself a pluralist university in a special sense. It is a top 100 university and one of the major universities in Belgium. It conducts in-depth research within a wide range of scientific domains. It is known as the first European university in the Songdo Global University Campus in South Korea.

Ghent University will provide a good salary package to the successful candidates. Your full-time monthly grant is calculated according to the terms of employment for PhD fellows. Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this Ghent University International Scholarship.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: PhD in ‘Sustainability from childhood. The effectiveness of communication strategies targeting children and young people to promote sustainable and healthy attitudes and behaviours’.
  • Admissible Criteria: Students should have a master’s degree in social sciences; preferably communication sciences, marketing, and (social) psychology.

  • An overview of your study results
  • Your motivation letter
  • A copy of the required diploma (if already in possession)

  • Admission Requirements: Students must have to meet the admission requirements for enrolling at the university.
  • Language Requirement: Excellent interpersonal writing and speaking capabilities in English.
