The Fully Funded Earth 360 Degree Competition of Arts is open to all internationals. It is an excellent opportunity for amateur and professional visual storytellers to share insightful perspectives on environmental concerns. This international competition is a yearly celebration of arts that invites young international students as well as older participants to showcase their talent in a series of artistic competitions and categories. The Earth 360 Competition 2023-2024 is organized by the Bangladesh Youth Environmental Initiative (BYEI), which focuses on nature through arts. It encourages people from all age groups to participate in an art contest that aims to create awareness about the ‘Triple Planetary Crisis,’ hence encouraging collaborative efforts for a sustainable future. It revolves around river and riverine life. If you find the state of the rivers in Bangladesh intriguing and wish to showcase their beauty while shedding light on the harm to culture, livelihoods, and ecosystems due to their decline, this is your chance. Express your emotions and capture the stories of riparian lives through various mediums. Thus, by doing so, participants contribute to a global dialogue on environmental issues through their creative works, making the Earth 360 International Competition a promoter of positive change and environmental advocacy. The Earth 360° Competition 2024 categories include Drawing competition, Digital Art competition, Photography Competition, and Video Film competition. Each category has various different awards for participants, such as certificates as well as cash prizes. Thus making the international contest an even more attractive opportunity.
Moreover, the Earth 360° Competition of Arts is entirely free to enter; there is no entry fee. Participants from all around the world can apply for this International Arts Competition in 2023. However, all the submitted entries must follow the theme of the Earth 360 Contest that is mentioned above. Similarly, whether it is your brush, photograph, or video, the Earth 360 Competition of drawing, digital art, photography, and videography by the Bangladesh Youth Environmental Initiative (BYEI) welcomes you to apply for this annual contest.
The Fully Funded Earth 360 Degree Competition of Arts will provide:
1. The Earth 360° Arts Competition offers a range of benefits to participants, enriching their creative experience and contributing to global environmental awareness.
2. The Best Drawing award includes a Crest, a certificate of appreciation, and Books worth Tk 5,000 for the Drawing competition.
3. The Second Best Drawing award includes a Crest, certificate of appreciation, and books worth Tk 4,000. Similarly, the Third Best Drawing gets a Crest, a certificate of appreciation, and books worth Tk 3,000.
4. The three winners receive a Crest and a certificate for the Digital Arts category.
5. The first winner gets award money of Tk 30,000, the second winner gets Tk 25,000, and the third winner gets Tk 20,000.
6. For the Photography category, all winners receive a Crest and certificate,
7. The senior section's first prize consists of Tk 30,000, the second prize of Tk 25,000, and the third, Tk 20,000.
8. Similarly, for the junior section photography, the first prize includes Tk 25,000, the second one includes Tk 20,000, and the third one includes Tk 15,000.
9. For the Video Film category, Best Short Film Fiction gets Tk 50,000, Best Documentary also gets Tk 50,000, best Vlog gets Tk 30,000, and three special mentions receive Tk 20,000.
The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Earth 360 Degree Competition of Arts are stated below:
1. People from all around the world are eligible to apply for this international contest.
2. Content deemed offensive, explicit, or inappropriate will lead to disqualification, with a strong emphasis on child safety and maintaining a secure environment.
Drawing Competition:
1. Kids up to 15 can apply for the drawing contest.
2. They may participate in person for this category.
3. Participants can use traditional mediums like charcoal, ink, pencil, watercolors, or pastels.
Digital Art Competition:
1. This category is open to all.
2. Each participant can submit three entries for the competition.
3. While there are no precise size or resolution requirements, all artwork should exhibit clarity and visual appeal. It should be well-suited for online display and, if necessary, printing.
4. Moreover, entries must be in a digital format, and participants must provide a high-resolution image file in a standard format such as PDF, JPEG, PNG, SVG, TIFF, etc.
Photography Competition:
1. The photography competition category is also open to everyone.
2. For the junior section, participants under 30 are eligible, while for the senior section, participants over 31 years of age are eligible to apply.
3. Applicants must provide a high-resolution image in digital format such as JPEG or PNG.
4. A maximum of three entries are allowed for this category.
Video Film Competition:
1. Anyone can apply for the Video film category.
2. Accepted formats may consist of MP4, MOV, or other conventional video formats.
3. The standard duration is up to 20 minutes; however, the accepted limit is a maximum of 25 minutes.
4. Present a title for your film along with a concise synopsis narrating the storyline without revealing the climax.
5. There is no set limit for each participant.
The deadline of Fully Funded Earth 360 Degree Competition of Arts 2024 is 31 December 2023.
