Introduction

The Fully Funded Commonwealth Shared Scholarship in UK is open to all nationals. It is jointly funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) and participating UK universities. It is for international students to pursue a one-year Master’s Degree Program. Applicants can apply only to approved courses in approved participating universities. This is a fully funded scholarship in the UK, and all the expenses are covered by the CSC and UK Universities. The applicants can apply directly through the CSC online application system for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. It is one of the most popular scholarship programs in the UK. The academic year will begin in September 2025.

Eligibility

  • Be a citizen of or have refugee status from one of the countries listed above.
  • Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country.
  • By September 2025, hold an undergraduate degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honors standard or a lower second-class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree).
  • Be available to start academic study in the UK in September 2025.
  • Have not studied or worked for more than one academic year or more in a high-income country
  • Unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship.

  • Proof that they are a citizen or have refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country
  • Proof of your identity is a valid passport (or national ID card) showing a photograph, date of birth, and country of citizenship.
