The International Cooperation Group of Brazilian Universities (GCUB) is pleased to announce the third edition of the GCUB International Mobility Program (GCUB-Mob), a prestigious initiative supported by key international organizations such as the Instituto Guimarães Rosa, OSC, OAS, CONFAP, UDUALC, CSUCA, UNESCO’s National Commission for Brazil, and AUF. This program awards over 800 scholarships for master’s and doctoral degrees at 55 Brazilian universities, aiming to develop high-level academic talent globally while promoting university internationalization and strengthening international cooperation. Through GCUB-Mob, students from all continents can experience Brazil’s top-tier education and contribute to global knowledge exchange.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Brazilian Government Scholarship are stated below:

  • Must be a citizen of a country that maintains a diplomatic relationship with Brazil
  • Must not have Brazilian nationality
  • Must declare to be in good physical and mental health to undertake postgraduate studies
  • Must have the ability to finance additional expenses not covered by the scholarship, such as airfare, visa processing, international health insurance, and other maintenance expenses
  • Must be able to submit the graduation diploma for the degree applied for, whether it is a Master’s or Doctorate
  • Doctoral candidates must verify if the chosen Graduate Program requires a Master’s degree and comply accordingly to avoid disqualification

  • Application form completed and signed
  • Copy of a valid passport
  • Recent passport-sized photograph
  • Copy of identification document
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • For Master’s candidates: Diploma or certificate of completion of undergraduate studies
  • For Doctorate candidates: Diploma or certificate of completion of undergraduate studies and, if required, a Master’s degree
  • Two essays for each chosen study program, formatted with Times New Roman font, size 12, 1.5 cm line spacing, and 2.5 cm margins.
