Introduction

Students that want to pursue a PhD study in AI/ML in Computer Vision are invited to apply for the Machine Learning in Computer Vision (Airport Baggage Inspection) – PhD Scholarship offered by Flinders University for the academic year 2022-2023.

All international and national students are eligible to apply for this Flinders University International Scholarship, given that they enroll in a PhD study programme at the College of Science and Engineering at Flinders University. The selected candidates will be provided an annual stipend of $28,854 and other benefits.

Benefits

Flinders University International Scholarship will provide the selected students a stipend valued at $28,854 per annum and an Industry internship of at least 60 full-time equivalent days.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All international students are eligible to apply for this Flinders University International Scholarship.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The applicants can undertake PhD programme at the College of Science and Engineering at Flinders University.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be Australian or international students.
  • The applicants must be available to commence as a full-time PhD student at Flinders University before June 2022 (subject to negotiation).

  • How to Apply: The applicants must create and apply through the student login of Flinders University. The students must submit an Expression of Interest to apply for the scholarship and submit it via mail to [email protected].
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • Cover letter
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Academic transcripts
  • Two academic references
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must meet the Ph.D. admission requirements of the university.
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
  • IELTS – 6.0
  • Completion certificate of English programs approved by ELICOS
